Lorraine
Driven by dance since she was little, Lorraine began performing on stage with passion from the age
of 5. She is a French dancer and she evolved as an artist on European stages, mainly between
France and Spain. She trained in ballet for 14 years and then explored hip hop. In 2017 she
participated in a world dance company (K’danses), where she discovered many types of dances,
including oriental dance. Since then, she has continued to enrich her practice, perfecting her
technique and knowledge with great teachers (Oscar Flores, Manuela Caballero, Samara Hayat,
Asmahan, Tito Seif, Ibrahim Dimos, Ryan Guochao, Asmahana…), while giving a central place to
culture, the cradle of Mediterranean dances.
Her professional career began in 2022. Her work as a dancer and choreographer was quickly
recognized at international festivals where she won several awards (ODM 2023, campeonato
nacional 2022-2023, Zayan festival 2023…). She also performs on stage with live musicians,
adding a unique dimension to her performances. Keen to perfect her art, Lorraine trained in theater,
and in 2023, she participated in the oriental musical comedy « Simbad » as an actress, dancer and
singer. A certified teacher from the UNESCO International Dance Council, she passionately
transmits her knowledge and love for dance to her students.
She has conquered her audience thanks to her technical mastery implemented in an expressive
dance marked by spontaneity and grace. She focuses on « raqs sharqi » and folklore from the
Middle East and North Africa. She also brings her own modern touch by performing music by
artists from the new Mediterranean scene. Dedicated to her art, she transmits her passion to the
students who trust her. She gives special importance to the music, interpretation and
contextualization of these dances, attached to perfect technique..
